About and Background

Based in Wales, Heduc8 is a wholesaler of hair and beauty products that stocks over 4,000 lines and supplies surrounding businesses.

Heduc8 was formed back in 2015, they began to fill a void in the market left by a previous wholesaler who was no longer trading.

They were struggling to find a solution which would integrate all of their requirements into a single solution. Despite committing to two previous systems none of them could deliver the results Heduc8 were looking for.

Large amounts of time was being spent duplicating data between Sage, point of sale and their website which meant that keeping track of accurate stock levels was a herculean task.

Project Requirements

The solutions Heduc8 needed to succeed:

Intuitive EPOS to handle trade and retail sales
Tablets to manage stock in and out
Integration with their WordPress site
Integration with Sage 50 to remove double entry

Solution

Since going live Heduc8 have removed all manual processes and the need to input data into multiple systems. Something that was previously taking hours each week.

As such, Heduc8 only now need to input stock lines once, from here we sync their products and stock levels with their existing Woo Commerce website. Meaning they now never sell something they don’t have in stock.

Integrating with Sage 50 was also key to the project success as retail transactions, trade account sales and online web sales are now consolidated into Sage automatically. This allows the finance team to focus on cash flow rather than wasting time on unnecessary admin.
